Social media strategists have crazy days like any other professionals. From being updated about the tons of changes in social networks to frequent client requirements, creation of social media reports on various aspects is enough to get the midnight oil burning.
Unmetric – the social media monitoring company, which has been known for its stellar insights on competitors has come forward to reduce the problems of report creation by social media strategists with its new feature One Click Social Media reports. The company says, “We found that social media strategists are spending so much time creating reports that it eats in to their creative time. Essentially we’ve turned a two hour long process in to a 5 minute job.”
One Click Social Media Reports
I decided to give the new feature a shot and was pretty amazed by the data that the report pulled out, and in a form that one could just review and forward to their manager or even the client. If you have access to Unmetric then select Facebook as one of the social networks and hit on the Compare feature – a feature that compares a set of Facebook pages and pulls out insights on Pages, Posts, Content and Campaigns.
I selected the telecom operators such as Airtel, Aircel, Idea, Vodafone and Tata Docomo. Once I had these brands on the dashboard, I went straight to the Reports section to click on the Configurable Reports. Once the date period is decided, the system provides you choices of having the report in a Powerpoint or Excel format. I went ahead with the Powerpoint format and within seconds the report was available for me to download.
The report is a complete comparative analysis of all the pages selected. While these features are available on Unmetric but with one click you have got all the data in one place in visual format. Not only can a social media strategist access all the data at one place but she can forward the same to required parties without spending too much time on report creation.
Listed below are some of the insights that were shared in the form of the Powerpoint report:

Configuring the report
While everything looks presentable on paper, the big question that will pop up is how flexible is this report to the wants of a social media strategist. The answer is that one can configure the report as she wants. Just head to Export Data feature and select the metrics you want to be shown in the report and ignore the rest. Thereafter press the export button and the report would be available to users in excel format.
In addition to this, one click social media reports are available in Excel formats and they are not any lesser than the Powerpoint reports. In fact I found the Excel reports interesting due to the fact that it was providing much more interesting insights.
