Udit, joins VML Qais with eight years of experience in branding, working for blue chip companies across industries. Prior to this he worked as a Business Director at a global brand consultancy firm, I-AM, responsible for business development and brand strategy.
Tripti Lochan, CEO of Asia, VML Qais added that Udit’s experience in branding will spike the Indian business operations of VML Qais.
The latest hire will strengthen VML Qais’s Indian arm which is now two years old. The agency has Indian clients like ICICI Bank, Revlon, Mahindra, Mahindra Holidays and Shiseido.
At the other end, Komli Media, a media technology platform, has appointed Ruksh Chatterji as VP India. This move is part of the company’s strategic objective to achieve rapid growth. In this role, Ruksh will be responsible for Komli Media’s India-based business.
Ruksh joins Komli from Jabong, one of the largest and fastest growing e-commerce businesses in India, where he ran the apparel business, delivering nearly half the company’s revenues. Ruksh, MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a master’s in mass communication from MCRC has been into various roles. Before Jabong he was a management consultant at Bain & Co in New York, prior to that he spent nearly a decade in various media roles, beginning with NDTV.com.
He was also part of the founding team of CNN-IBN’s Mumbai Bureau, where he set-up editorial operations and support functions, apart from specializing in investigative reporting and covering crime & terrorism.
Amar Goel, Founder and CEO at Komli Media informs that with the addition of Ruksh, Komli has strengthened its leadership team to further scale up its business operations in the country.
