The brand has been creating buzz on social media right from the time of announcement. Beginning with streaming a live webcast of the press conference, Tata Housing started building conversations around the hashtag #1stFBHomeLaunch. The social media pages of the brand then continued the engagement with a series of contests related to Goa.
The hashtag changed to #LeaveYourBagsBehind with contests on favourite places and memories of Goa. Both the brand’s Facebook as well as Twitter pages are occupied in gearing people for how they can own a piece of Goa.

With over 130 million Indians active on Facebook, this tie-up could well boost online home buying in the country. Recently, Tata Value Homes, a subsidiary company of Tata Housing launched an online booking scheme across India with the promise of assured rent for a year. All an aspiring home buyer needed to do was to book a home online at Rs. 30,000 across cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Pune, during August 18-August 20, 2015.
A hilarious #DumpTheLandlord campaign was launched on digital media that focused on various types of landlords and how you could dump them and be the landlord. Short funny videos described types of landlords – Jasoos, Kanjoos, Emotional, Lalchi.
Tata Housing pioneered the concept of online home buying in India when it partnered with The Great Online Shopping Festival by Google in December 2013. Since then the company is coming up with innovative ideas to sell homes at its various projects. Last year, in a first-of-its-kind initiative, the brand had announced the National Home Buying Day, a unique opportunity for aspirers to purchase their dream home online with guaranteed appreciation up to 33 percent.
Last month, the brand conducted India’s first online exhibition for an exclusive audience from Jul 13 – 15, 2015. Homes buyers with a valid invite code were given an online user experience very similar to a real life exhibition, with a special offer of getting an extra room with their home at no extra cost.
