Indian digital marketing industry has some major updates from leading digital agencies – Singapore headquartered VML Qais and MEC India.
Preethi Sanjeevi, who has been with VML Qais for a decade now, has been promoted to the position of Chief Marketing Officer – a role newly created in line with the agency’s expansion plans.
In her new role, Preethi will assume responsibility for marketing functions across the region, including strategic partnerships and alliances, agency visibility, among other required activities. She will also support VML Qais’ India team.
The MICA pass out was the Clients Solutions Director for more than half a decade. She has been part of VML Qais from mid 2006. During this time she has managed a successful pan regional business team for VML Qais and has led teams that have defined digital strategy for several brands including Dell, 3M, Banyan Tree, Vodafone, Revlon & Shiseido.
MEC owned by WPP has also announced the appointment of Premnath Unnikrishnan as South Head – Digital in India. Based out of Bangalore, Premnath will report to Vishal Chinchankar, Digital Leader – India.
Prior to joining MEC, he was with Interactive Avenues, a leading full-service digital marketing company. In his stint of 3.5 years, the digital and search engine marketing expert had the responsibility of handling client consulting of key accounts for all their digital requirements. Some of the accounts he handled at Interactive Avenues were Wipro, TTK, ING Vysya Bank and World Vision.
