Every year May 11 is observed as National Technology Day. On this day the nation proudly celebrates the achievements of its scientists. The day marks quite a few technological advancements for the country – In 1999 the first indigenous aircraft ‘Hansa-3’ was test flown at Bangalore. The country also executed three successful nuclear tests, carried out at Pokhran, in Rajasthan, on May 11 in 1998. It was the country’s second nuclear test.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was quick to greet the citizens on National Technology Day. Thereafter we saw quite a few of his cabinet ministers doing the same with different visuals.
