It is only natural that a book about her had to be out soon.

Follow her as she goes from being a chubby teenager accompanying her sister on shoots to transforming into the hottest leading lady on screen today. And the publishers, Penguin Books India are not leaving any stone unturned to promote it on social media, especially the most popular social network among the youth – Facebook.
The Facebook pages of both Penguin India and beauty brand Lakmé Salon are in buzz creation mode with interesting things lined up. Fans have been asked if they would like to look like Kareena earlier yesterday. Today fans are being asked if they would like a free makeover from Lakme. The Lakme Salon Facebook page has close to a lakh fans whereas the Penguin India page is close to 57K fans. Even though the updates on both the pages are similar the engagement the Lakme page has drawn for the posts considering it’s target groups is more than the Penguin India page.
This is perhaps the first time two brands have synced their content in terms of Facebook marketing strategy for a book. Going by the updates, fans will be treated to a makeover, following a contest and that should be interesting to watch.
