44-year old Congress Vice President, Rahul Gandhi seems to be sticking to his trend of disappearing at crucial times. As news broke out on an active Sunday that BJP is once again leading in two big states - Maharastra and Haryana, once again Congress chief was no where to be found as his party continues to witness major defeat after the recent general elections.
While in these state elections he wasn’t the face of the party’s campaign in Maharashtra and Haryana and addressed only about a dozen rallies but he was no where to be found when the party needed him most. This led to a very important question on Twitter - “Where is Rahul Gandhi.”

NDTV reports that while the Congress party was coping with the major set back in the state elections, Rahul was touring Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, which was devastated by Cyclone Hudhud last weekend. Meanwhile, the party was embarrassed by its own workers who gathered outside the party headquarters with placards saying: “Priyanka Lao, Congress Bachao (Bring Priyanka, save Congress).”

However, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Rahul Gandhi’s sister, has declined to take on a larger role in the party.
