For the first time in 10 years after starting his political career, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi opened up in front of the media. Last night after his political debut in 2004, Rahul Gandhi took direct questions on a wide range of subjects on Frankly Speaking with TIMES NOW Editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami. Projected as the biggest political move by the Congress before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, this interview seems to have backfired.
The interview focused on a wide variety of questions like - was he scared of a political face off against Modi? What is his view on the 1984 Sikh riots? Was he a reluctant politician? And what are his views on the multiple scams that UPA 2 was affected by? But, the Gandhi scion’s answers on several crucial questions were disappointing and vague and have left the nation in splits. Termed as historic initially, the interview has now become the butt of jokes on social media. Soon after the interview last night, this has been trending both on Facebook and Twitter.
My Facebook wall has been filled with people expressing their displeasure on the thoughts of the young leader. On Twitter, the hashtags #RahulSpeaksToArnab, #ArnabVsRahul have been trending continuously leading to enormous discussions on the platform. These discussions have been majorly taking a dig on the interview. In here, we have curated 33 such tweets that are a hilarious take on the interview. Have fun and in case you have missed the historic interview, you can always watch the recorded version.
