Get it out on social first and then on TV has been the mantra for quite a few brands this season while they are launching a new TVC. The mantra has been followed by the eCommerce platform Myntra too when it recently launched its latest brand advertising campaign on the theme – ‘Real Life Mein Aisa Hota Hai Kya’.
Reported by IDR, Myntra is trying to spread that shopping means doing it from a large collection while you are seated on your couch. Targeting women the brand with its new TVC is trying to communicate the benefits and ease of shopping online at Myntra.com.
Shot in Panjim, Goa, the ad showcases a mammoth parcel being carried by a number of Myntra delivery boys. After being carrying across various lanes, ferried across a river, over the bridge, it finally reaches the destination while it gets attention from the town too. The parcel is unveiled for a young girl which is a fashion apparel store with all the offerings that Myntra has for the girl and the very next moment the store is also displayed on the laptop screen that the girl is holding in her hand. The ad ends with a message to shop from over 500 brands while you are sitting in your home.
The TVC was uploaded on Myntra’s YouTube channel on 26th November and till date has got more than 3K views. It has not got a major spike on YouTube and right now the growth has been more or less flat. Besides this the brand also shared the video the same day on Facebook too. The brand that has more than 1.6M fans on Facebook has till date got only 18 shares while being liked by more than 70 people.
Myntra definitely has given its social media fans the exclusive look of its TVC first but the push hasn’t been aggressive on social media for its latest campaign – ‘Real Life Mein Aisa Hota Hai Kya’.
