Lufthansa India is out with yet another exciting Facebook campaign that could fly you free to New York with a 2 night stay at the iconic hotels of Manhattan. One of the leading European airlines in India, Lufthansa has launched “Destination Rendezvous – New York”, a Facebook campaign in association with NYC & Company, the official marketing, tourism and partnership organization for the City of New York, Taj Hotel The Pierre, and Le Parker Meridien.
NYC & Company is dedicated to maximizing travel and tourism opportunities throughout the five boroughs, building economic prosperity and spreading the positive image of New York City worldwide. The campaign by Lufthansa is a crossword solving one that seeks to create awareness on the various attractions in the city. The winner gets a free Lufthansa flight along with a 2 night stay at the iconic Taj Hotel The Pierre, as well as another 2 night stay at the chic Le Parker Meridien in Manhattan!
Destination Rendezvous - Nonstop New York
The month-long campaign is a crossword contest hosted on a Facebook app, where fans need to solve the ‘Nonstop New York’ Crossword, which has 10 questions about New York City. Designed and executed by digital agency MRM worldwide, you need to like the Lufthansa India Facebook page before you begin solving. Following which you need to also register with your name, contact details and date of birth.
All the clues to crack the crossword are hidden in the app itself. You only need to read through the tab ‘Nonstop New York’. The ‘Terms & Conditions’ of the contest and the partners have also been listed on the app.
The ‘Nonstop New York’ tab gives a brief description of popular tourist attractions in the city like Broadway, Empire State Building, Madame Tussauds New York, The Statue of Liberty and more.
The contest is like any other crossword with 5 across and 5 down clues. The number of letters in each answer is provided within the ( ) following the question. If the answer has two words, then the letters in each word will be separated with a comma. Click on ‘submit’ after you entered all answers. The winner will be chosen through a random sweepstakes of all correct answers.

The campaign was in partnership with German National Tourist Office and Region Stuttgart which promotes Stuttgart and the adjoining areas as tourist places.
