Dentsu India appoints Indrajeet Mookerjee as Executive Vice-President: Dentsu India, the full-service communication agency from Dentsu Aegis Network, has appointed Indrajeet Mookerjee as Executive Vice-President. Mookerjee has spent two decades in the communication business having worked in some of the leading agencies, including Lowe Lintas, Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, Rediffusion Young & Rubicam and TBWA in India and Indonesia. In his last role, he was the Managing Director of Soho Square, Indonesia — part of the Ogilvy group.

HT Media net profit down with decline in advertising revenue: Media and newspaper company HT Media reported lower net profit due to decline in advertising revenue for the quarter ended September 2016 (Q2 FY17). However, digital revenues increased 9.8% to Rs 37.3 crore from Rs 33.9 9 crore in the same quarter last year.

HT Media’s digital director Amit Garg quits the company: Amit Garg, HT Media’s executive director of digital, has quit the company. Garg will be “pursuing other opportunities” but it is currently unclear as to where he will work. Zairus Master and Vishal Chaddha, the co-CEOs of Shine.com, the jobs portal, will be filling in Garg’s shoes at the company. Digital Quotient or DQ, which is the company’s digital marketing agency, will be led by the current head Anurag Patnaik who will report to Chaddha for the time being.

Lava Mobiles makes ‘Never lets you down’ promise with Dhoni and Babbar: Lava Mobiles has rolled out two new films. The films are part of the campaign featuring Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni and Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar. Through an interaction between the duo, the brand reiterates the number of tests carried out on Lava phones, while highlighting a feature in each film. The campaign has been conceptualised by Soho Square.
