Komli Media APAC’s Leading Digital Media Network once again strengthens its relationship with Facebook in the continent. Komli Media which has been the only authorized re-seller of Facebook premium inventory in India has recently announced the company’s ATOM platform has been integrated with Facebook Exchange (FBX) and Real Time Bidding (RTB) platforms. One of the first moves made by Komli in the region will enable it to access one of the largest pool of audiences on the web.

Komli Media FBX integration

The latest integration is going to help Komli in two ways – 1) Enabling the benefits of retargeting and 2) Access to one of the largest audience on the web. Both the ways mean that the company once again strengthens its position as one of the largest digital platforms in the APAC region.

Facebook had been testing FBX mid last year to provide means to brands to target their fans better while testing the ads on the log out screen and shareable ad units. FBX or the real time bidding ad system keeps a track about visitors on a third-party website with the help of a cookie and later it helps in showing real time ads related to the activities performed while web browsing on Facebook.

In other words, Facebook will show you targeted ads about a brand that you had recently visited on an external website. For example, if you have recently visited an ecommerce store that has tied up with Facebook for this program and you leave the store without buying the product that you had intended to, the next time when you visit your Facebook you would see an ad related to the store you had visited and maybe with a discount on the product that you had intended to buy.

With the retargeting feature, the latest development will help marketers to leverage on their own data about users and Komli’s audience segments to connect with niche audience. This also means having access to one of the largest audiences on the web. Apart from FBX integration, Komli also has RTB partnerships with other companies such as Google Adx, PubMatic and Rubicon, which gives it access to more than 2.5 billion impressions each day.

The latest move by Komli will allow marketers to run retargeting campaigns in an engaging and brand safe environment. It also means that Komli Media continues to have a hold over the social ad solution space along with its desire to be the SoLoMo ad solution in Asia.
