Running a content site based on a crowd sourcing model for the last 4 years is not an easy job but Sahil Khan has done it and wants to keep doing it. TheTossedSalad.com is an online lifestyle activists guide running from Pune. Additionally, Sahil has been a pretty well known face in the social media world and the young Indian enterprenurs horizon.
I was delighted to invite him for the ongoing video series that we are doing for quite some time now. I was also happy to see that finally after a year, I am able to do an online Skype video and got a chance to use Vodburner. The interview was fun and the key takeaways for me were:
1. The way you present your content to your readers matters. As Sahil says that in your mind you may want to say a lot of things but when you present it, you do it with utmost professionalism.
2. SME’s will have to invest time and money to see the results or ROI coming up for them.
3. And if you are an entrepreneur, be shameless and fearless.
Do have a look at the video interview and let me know what you think.
If you are an Indian agency/brand/startup in the social media space and want to be a part of the video interview series then either mail us at connect[at]lighthouseinsights[dot]in or tweet me at @LHInsights.
