Info Edge invests Rs 10 Cr in Canvera & Rs 4 Cr in Happily Unmarried: Info Edge* has invested Rs 10 crore in Canvera Digital Technologies that owns and operates the online photography service Canvera.com through optionally convertible cumulative redeemable preference shares, the company has informed BSE. 3. Airtel & Samsung tie-up to launch TVs with built-in Airtel Digital TV smart cards: Airtel Digital TV has partnered Samsung to launch an Integrated Digital TV (iDTV) that will allow consumers access Airtel’s DTH services without installing an external set-top-box. Read more here.

4. Real estate focused social networking site Qluto enables buyers to know a property better before purchasing it: Named Qluto, the website is currently in the beta and is scheduled to go live in February next year. It will first be launched in Delhi/NCR region, post which it will expand to Mumbai and Bangalore in Q3, 2015. The company is registered under the name Urban Circle Infra Pvt Ltd. Read more here.

5. Zomato expands to Canada, unveils new look, to invest $10M in a year: Gurgaon-based Zomato Media Pvt Ltd, owner of the restaurant, event listing & review site Zomato.com , has expanded to North America by launching its operations in Toronto (Canada). Zomato said in a statement that it will cover over 11,000 restaurants in the Greater Toronto Area and the services will be available on the web as well as on various mobile platforms, including iOS, Android, Windows and Blackberry. 6. Just Dial plans to raise $165M; revenue up 31%, net margin declines in Q2: Mumbai-based Just Dial Ltd, which runs the online business directory Justdial.com, is planning to raise up to Rs 1,000 crore ($165 million) through equity and related instruments, the company announced in a stock market disclosure. 7. Matrix Partners India focuses on deals in internet and software space: Matrix Partners India, early backer of online classifieds player Quikr, has closed its fifth seed investment since last month as it steps up the focus on earlystage deals in the Internet and software space. Read more here.

8. Air India to use Twitter, mobile app to address customer queries: Air India Ltd will start tweeting soon in a bid to modernize the way it addresses queries from customers and try and attract younger travellers. The airline, which already has a Facebook page, will also introduce a mobile app within the coming fortnight to try and extend its reach and boost revenue. Read more here.

Repucom to represent all major sports leagues in India: Global leader in sports maketing research, Repucom, will provide extensive media/sponsorship evaluation and social media intelligence throughout the coming season, to the crème de la crème of sporting entities in India including Indiaʼs very own professional football league, ISL, Indian Badminton League (IBL), Hockey International League (HIL), Pro Kabbadi League (PKL), Running (Procam International) and International Premier League Tennis (IPTL), which is set to launch next month and will take place in four cities across Asia, including Delhi.
