Twitter has been aggressive in simplifying its platform these days to get more user traction. Recently Twitter had announced that the 140 character network, which was once about simple pure conversations, has gradually evolved into a ‘me too’ social network. The latest web profile page re-design similar to Facebook is now available for all users.
Twitter writes: Today, the new web profile experience is rolling out to all users around the world.

With this new design, users can look forward to some interesting features such as – Best tweets (Tweets that have received more engagement), Pinned tweet (Pin tweets that you want to show off) and Filtered tweets (choose which timeline to view when checking out other profiles). And marketers should take a look at this – How Will Twitter’s New Profile Page Design Affect Brands?
The latest design roll out is an addition to Twitter’s nine recent experiments in an attempt to simplify its network and thereby increase reach. Twitter has been facing problems for its declining reach and the latest design change is a move in the same direction to gain more users.
