The website was part of the Niti Digital Venture which was instrumental in coordinated volunteer efforts for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election campaign in 2014. The site said that it has been retired as of January 31, 2016 with the older posts available on archives.

Publisher Westland raises funding from Amazon: Tata Group’s publisher Westland has raised an undisclosed amount of money from Amazon.com, the company announced in a press statement. The Hindu reports that Amazon has picked up a 26% stake in Westland for an investment of approximately Rs 9.5 crore. Westland will expand its international reach and scale its physical and digital book business.

Digital retail market expected to grow five times by 2020: Report: According to the finding of the report, the number of internet users is expected to grow from 260 million in 2015 to 650 million by 2020. Significant shifts are also expected in the profile of internet users: one third of the users would be aged 35 and above by 2020 compared to 22% in 2015, while almost half of the users would hail from rural India and Tier 4 towns in 2020 compared to 35% in 2015.
