Tennis lovers in India have been on the moon for some time now, Roger Federer - the greatest tennis player of all time was in the country. Indian fans have been excited from the time the news broke that the winner of all four Grand Slam titles will be visiting the country to participate in the inaugural edition of the International Premier Tennis League.

The 17-time Grand Slam champion played his first tennis match on Indian soil on Day 2 of the Indian leg of the IPTL at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium on Sunday. Roger won all the three sets in the Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles and the Mixed Doubles. In doing so he added the much required spark to the IPTL in a cricket loving country.

Bollywood also made sure to make its impression like it does in all other sporting leagues in the country. Before Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic could take on each other, Bollywood jumped in to have some fun and pour in a bit of oomph!

Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone and Askhay Kumar joined in for an exhibition match with the legends of the game. Aamir got the maximum time on court with the sport’s biggies. Padukone, Akshay and Ritesh Deshmukh joined the party later. The other celebrities who turned up included Mohammad Azharuddin, Sunil Gavaskar and Lara Dutta. But it was Deepika Padukone that stole hearts at the ground.
