Condé Nast Traveller, the one-stop source for all things in luxury travel and lifestyle has launched its third anniversary issue centred around the theme, ‘100 secrets about India’. It has stories on some of the special but unknown places to visit along with food, recipes, cultures, and blogs to refer to before visiting a place. And the luxury travel magazine from the Conde Nast group has planned massive promotions for its anniversary issue, that include popular social networks like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram too.
The Condé Nast Traveller India Facebook page has been sharing visual updates about the issue with links to the magazine’s blog. It was nice to read editor Divia Thani Daswani’s introduction to the anniversary issue, which gave a little peep into what secrets the magazine held. The blog post ended with an earnest request to readers to share their favourite secrets about India and help more of us discover all that is amazing, magical and fantastic about this incredible nation. All they needed to do was use the hashtag #IndianSecrets on Twitter to share their secret and also win prizes!
The 140-character social network is ripe with conversations on the hashtag #IndianSecrets. The editor, quite active on Twitter herself is also promoting the issue along with the brand’s Twitter handle.
@CN_Traveller_IN Anniversary issue is out in a few days with 100 #IndianSecrets to discover! Share your own #IndianSecrets for great prizes

However, I couldn’t find an Instagram page associated to Conde Nast Traveller India nor any relevant Instagram posts with #IndianSecrets as mentioned by AFAQS.
The magazine has leveraged its blog well to introduce the anniversary issue and get readers excited enough to buy it. Moreover, it is good to see the magazine getting the social media fans to get involved by sharing their Indian secrets. Incentivising the activity sharing further adds to fans’ excitement. Cool promotions on social media that is usually frequented by travellers.
