Like all other Congress politicians, the Haryana CM also tried to avoid commenting on any questions raised by IAS officer Ashok Khemka about the Robert Vadra-DLF land deal and the issuance of land development licenses in his state.

Khemka has submitted a 100 page submission to the government about the alleged involvement of Vadra who also happens to be the son-in-law of Congress president Sonia Gandhi. Khemka has further demanded an investigation into licensing of 21,000 acres of land for various uses by the  government in the past eight years, including the 3.53 acres that was part of the Vadra-DLF deal.

However, the CM speaking to Hindu clarified that there is no complaint against Vadra and further added that the charges that have been raised are baseless. While sharing his views on Vadra, the CM also stated that he is as good as a small farmer who has collaborated with a developer (DLF) and can sell his license along with the land and reap the benefit.
