Aviva India Promotes #AvivaYoungScholar, A Child’s Ticket To Big Dreams

For the promotions of Aviva Young Scholar plan, the insurance brand hosted a Twitter contest of the same name, with flipkart vouchers as prizes.

Aviva Life insurance, the insurance providers formed by two of the oldest companies in the world – Aviva and Dabur has long been focusing on the role of fathers in securing their child’s future. The company’s social presence is seen emphasizing on the bond between a father and a child, while making sure its child plans take centrestage.

Former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar who is also a doting father of two has been the Aviva India ambassador, inspiring many fathers to be just as responsible and good. Aviva has been actively engaging the community with contests around Sachin and Sachin-signed merchandise as gratification, while serving as a platform to encourage good parenting skills.

Last year, Aviva India kicked off the ‘What’s your big plan?’ campaign on social media as part of its marketing campaign for its Child Plans. The nationwide campaign gave away scholarships to children so they could fulfil their big dreams. Child Plans help secure a child’s future against rising education costs and can provide financial support for tuition fees, college admission fund and for higher education. The content is mixed with how Child Plans can help realize a child’s dream.

This time the brand kicked off the ‘#AvivaYoungScholar’ contest for the Child Plans of the same name. The day-long contest on Twitter shared jumbled words with visuals and hints while users with correct answers for all five questions won Flipkart vouchers from a random draw. Participants needed to follow the Aviva India Twitter handle and use the #AvivaYoungScholar hashtag in their tweets.

The campaign hashtag trended on India Twitter trends, thereby increasing visibility.

The brand’s Facebook page has been creating conversations around #BigDreams, while promoting the Young Scholar plan and sharing useful parental advise. Apparently, Aviva is on a path to fulfill big dreams of children and is leveraging social media to create the storytelling around that. The contest add up to create the additional engagement.
