Social media promotions for the campaign are not far away. The brand’s Facebook page that has always focused on the father-child bond has been actively spreading word about the campaign. A new cover page and updates on the wall have been inviting parents to share their child’s big plan.

The campaign has also taken a CSR initiative. On Independence Day, Aviva partnered with Save The Children, an NGO working towards underprivileged children’s causes to help India’s children dream big too. The brand created a video featuring Sachin and some of these children sharing their future dreams with him. For every share Aviva will donate Re 1 towards their education.

On Twitter, Aviva has been sharing about the campaign and the video with the hashtag #WhatsTheBigPlan, asking users to share the video and contribute to the cause.

Insurance brands are connecting to parents through interesting incentives for their children. Max Life Insurance  is currently running the ‘Young Authors’ Hunt 2013, where the brand aspires to nurture writing talent in children across the ages of 8 to 15. The initiative will be judged by authors like Ruskin Bond and Chetan Bhagat, with the grand winner getting published in a book by Rupa Publications India. Other prizes include Kindle e-book readers, getting published in a children’s publication or an igenius e-book, Young Authors’ Scholarship worth Rs 5000 and children’s book hampers.
