Arvind Kejriwal, founder of Aam Aadmi Party is in the news once again for his loud remarks. This time he has called the Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung as a BJP agent. Not sure if the Governor would be pressing any charges on Arvind for such baseless remarks, Twitter has been quick to trend #KejriwalQuotes from yesterday.
Late last year Arvind Kejriwal evolved from an activist to the poster boy of Indian politics. After separating from India Against Corruption, Arvind along with his supporters formed the Aam Aadmi Party with the promise of good governance and sweeping away corruption from the system. With limited budget and effective usage of social media, AAP made a surprising debut in the capital that led it to form the party.
Arvind became the new champion of Indian politics. However his 49 days government dissolved since AAP wanted to fight the 2014 general elections by giving a stiff competition to BJP. In doing so AAP not only lost badly in the general elections, it also led to its fall.
Since then AAP has been trying to make a comeback by convincing to have fresh elections in Delhi, as the capital has been under President rule for quite some time now. This could be one of the reasons for Arvind making loud and baseless comments on the governor.
Twitter has been witnessing #KejriwalQuotes trending at the top since yesterday. Majority of them are against the leader while a few are in his support.
