Like the last year’s general elections in the country which brought back BJP into power, Delhi’s election was also driven by social media and Twitter trends. In fact #AAPSweep is still dominating the India Twitter trends.

AAP created a tsunami on social media after its victory. We also witnessed the would be Delhi CM sharing his joy with his wife Sunita which has now gone viral.

In just one day Twitter data informs that the platform witnessed 101 tweets per minute, making it a total of more than 347K tweets yesterday.

The victory also gave enough reasons for the AAP volunteers to cheer and flash big smiles.
