5 Indian Social Media Articles Worth Reading

Google dominated the week for it’s I/O conference that introduced brilliant features on Google Plus such as Events, History, etc. The week that passed by also had more controversies from Facebook and Twitter. In the beginning of the week, Facebook silently made it’s email id as default in the timeline without consulting it’s users and later on introduced a feature that looks for friends in a local area - “Find Friends Nearby”.  End of the week, we saw Twitter issuing stricter guidelines for its third party app developers, and which is also why LinkedIn has stopped showing tweets on its platform. At our end, we covered Colonial Bungalows - a wonderful project by Kiruba Shankar, Jet Airways incredible way of going social with fans and Airtel’s impressive Rising Stars Facebook app. Besides, bringing in a list of 6 smart and impressive CSR campaigns and a list that showcases 20 Indian brands that are effectively using Google Plus brand pages.
